There was a
‘Fiding!’
and a ‘Fadang!’
then a big, big ‘Bang!’
and things flew in every direction.
Eventually,
along came Man
(and Woman, of course)
With their short-life span
and need for natural selection.
Sadly, they were not chosen;
on ice were frozen;
not to be thought of again.
Maybe, in a future time,
they’ll be a new creature sublime –
or just a right royal pain
in the arse!
