At the end of the afternoon,

when the work has largely been done,

it seems like a fine time

to wind down a little.

Even though the day has cooled,

and the Easterly breeze is picking up,

more could still be done;

but, as much has already been completed,

perhaps now is the time

to hang up the tools

and take the dogs for a walk –

they need their own time, too.

Tomorrow is another day,

let’s make the most of the one we’re still in.
