“I couldn’t write a poem if I tried.”

I’m not a poet,

can’t write poetry,

have no rhythm

or rhyme,

or the time

to write

what to some is trite,

boring, more a cause for snoring,

much less for fans adoring

the order of the words.

I’m not a poet,

and don’t I know it.
