It doesn’t happen often,
and I can’t remember the last time,
but this morning is two hours behind schedule.
I overschlepped?!

Not the end of the world,
as, belatedly, I unfurled from the bed,
but playing ‘catch-up’
is not how it should be.

Me, I’m just surprised
that the minimals
let me sleep.
