I often mishear a word,
and come up with a meaning absurd,
in this instance ‘Begonias’
when it should have been ‘Beginners’
“Absolutely ridiculous!” you shout,
which I’ve often heard,
as ‘Absent lutenist practices’
which would make some sense
in the right context,
but is just nonsense
in most.
.
‘Ghost!’ is another word
that gets misheard,
‘Goats!’ I hear,,
I look about for to see them,
but no, you must be kidding me,
or am I the sort of person
that doesn’t believe in goats?
