Leave the leaves upon the lawn,
I know they’re looking quite forlorn;
but they will grow into the ground,
that’s how nature goes around
.
Let the grass grow strong and tall
you don’t need to mow at all,
the butterflies and bees give thanks
for messy lawns and flowery banks.
