‘When Ovid had COVID’

When Ovid had Covid,

he changed,

into a dove that you’d wish to avoid;

devoid of love,

annoyed at the push,

and the shove.

He’d bill

and he’d coo,

then he’d write a haiku

dissing the good Gods above.
