Aprille The Sixeth.

Aprille The Sixeth.

Aprille, whan those swote shoures fell;

back in thirteen-eighty somewhen –

Chaucer wrote about them (and it)

in his ‘Tales of Caunterbury’ –

and still to this day

we do get April shower every which way;

and April the Sixeth has been no different;

apart from it not raining, that is.

Roll on May,

roll on April the Seventh,

roll-on deodorant.

And let that be a lesson to you all.
