Arlip The Thrid
Arlip was a Thrid, a proud race of indigenous harvesters of wheat for their victuals.
The Thrids lived by the side of a towering mountain that provided them with water and shelter; brushwood and moss.
Whenever three thrids were together they considered themselves a wohle . Three was their magic nimber; but having no nimber for ‘two’ – and only a vague concept of the nimber ‘one’ everything that they had was in threes.
The Thrids were made up by this.
They also sang a lot; but only had the three songs – it being, ‘three is a magic nimber’.
I’m so tired I feel dead, but I chuckled out loud 🙂
Thank you, Angela – I just went where it took me with this one. G:)
