April The First (cont.)

April The First (cont.)

It’s still April the First;

but, April the Second

has beckoned

me;

and after that there is April Three;

then more,

April Five, Six and Four

(though not in that order),

Seven, Eleven, Nine, Eight and Ten;

then various others

until comes a time when

all the days have been experienced

and then

are relegated to history.

Why this is so

is a mystery

to me –

and Toyah.
