A Silly Song
I’ve got this feeling
That you’re climbing on my ceiling
Wearing something that is much too revealing
And I’ve got a potato…
That needs peeling
(And that ain’t no euphemism!)

A Silly Song
I’ve got this feeling
That you’re climbing on my ceiling
Wearing something that is much too revealing
And I’ve got a potato…
That needs peeling
(And that ain’t no euphemism!)
hmmmm….are you sure it is a potato? Does it have eyes and is it watching by any chance?
If it looks like a euphemism, sounds like a euphemism, and is a euphemism then it could still be a potato! G:)
it must be gadzookery!
Now you are just being gadzillery! 🙂
ha, it’s my word of the day on my calendar. Gadzookery, says it’s British….thought you might know of it….
It’s from the time of Old Shakey, methinks. It is a word that I still use when the potato chips are down. G:)
and we come back round to the potato….perhaps couch variety like my dogs at the moment 🙂
gadzooks – archaic:
an exclamation of surprise or annoyance.
The verbal form is even more archaic, mestillthinks! G:)
as used in a sentence “gadzooks, I leave my computer behind for a week and find 600 emails, 100 of which are G-mans post” yikes!
As used anachronistically in a sentence about emails and computers…? Yes. G:)
