A Poet Has A Nose.

Words

When pushed

That don’t quite work

Should be hushed

Put into a shoebox

And hidden under the bed

Or used as fire fodder, instead.

But, how does a poet know

When his words have failed to flow;

And where they should go?

A poet knows

Because he has a poet’s nose.

Figures.
