‘Bea’ by the Sea.

They call me Bea (as in ‘bee’)

It’s not my name;

But, it’s what they call me.
I was born a girl;

Head in a whirl,

I grew up to be

A woman, you see –

That seems to be how it went.
I love the beach,

Living within reach of the sea;

And always can be found there,

Bea – that’s me.
My mother was a Coss,

My father was a Chutt;

When they got married

They had me;

I’m ‘Bea’ Chutt.
I live by the sea;

And, I think you’d agree,

We do go together

Quite nice-a-lea!
