Out Of Context

A lady spoke to me out of context today,

I didn’t know what to say

She was the wrong lady

In the wrong place;

She should have been somewhere else-

I would have known her

In her natural environs –

As it was,

I gawped

And gaped

And gasped

My confusion.
But, eventually,

I realised where it was that I knew her from;

She’d just been passing

And saw me delivering goods to another office

Knowing that I was delivering to her office soon.
Some days

I know my A

From my E.
