Back to the Land of Graft

Back to work

Two days only

This week

Then the weekend

Thursday, Friday

Then the weekend

And I know that Thursday and Friday will drag

And Saturday and Sunday will fly

It’s not that I’m a pessimistic sort of guy

It’s just I’m a realistic sort of guy

Who knows ‘a hawk from a handsaw

When the wind is Southerly’

As Hamlet once said

To confuse the inimitable Rosencrantz and Guildenstern

They did not learn of their demise

Until too late

Those predestined guys

Never on their own

Who, apart, could not be known.
So, work today

And work tomorrow

And no work for the two days after.

And then work for a whole week.

(That was a sarcastic ‘yay!’ by the way.)
