Which question being one of the main questions (along with Where? Who? What? When? And so on…).

But, ‘Why?’ On it’s own and out of context is little more than a word.

So ‘Why?’ what?

Well, following an incident in Oxford today, I wish to ask the question: ‘Why did the duck cross the road?’

I have a theory.

I reckon that the duck might have thought that he was a chicken.

How so? you ask.

But, giving me questions in answer to my questions is not helpful, don’t you think?

I am sure that the chicken crossed the road to get to the gym (which was obviously on the other side) and he was going to the gym to work on his pecks.

The duck was off to settle his bill.

I hope that all this makes sense.
