I think, therefore…

The muffins of the day were blueberry down Newbury way
Although what was going on down Blackberry Way, I hadn’t a clue
And I didn’t want to move there – would you?
The inn seat was satin in in an inn in Prestatyn – intuitively, I think.

The old car was bought secondhand in Redcar
(Although it was white and rust-coloured)
And the engine and gear box had been mullered – as is so often the case
But, to soften the blow
They found a million pound in a suitcase in the boot-
Case of lucky them, I think.

I think too often
And too far
And to be fair
I would think whilst walking near the far pavilions
Or in a nearby fair
Which is only fair
As far as I can see
Or say.

I think, therefore, I amble through these words
Like playing cards in their four new suits of:
Pens; Papers, Ideas and Languages.
