#NaPoWriMo – Day 8: The Badriomaku

Today’ Badriomaku

Is the day
When it all stops here.
And then continues
Upon its way;
Off to pay its dues.

‘My Love’ Badriomaku

My love

is precious

and I love her so

she is my daylight

and my nighttime;

and we are as one.

With a syllable count of 2-3-5-1-5-4-5, the Hungarian Badriomaku is interesting in that it gives you a structure that doesn’t fit any preconceived ideas. Below is another example.
