Story To Be Written Here… (Updated)

image

I was sat stirring my wooden coffee with my wooden coffee stirrer, when…
… I thought ‘it was a break for only 15 minutes.’ It meant I could only get to see her for 15 minutes…. But she didn’t come… I waited for her… just to ask her if she would like to come with me tonight to the concert… It would be the first time I could really talk with her… I waited… and she never came.

Next day, I learned that she had left the company…

… I still think of her. Her pale blue eyes, blue hair, blue demeanour… Her name had been Skye – it probably still was – but, like the lightness she was, her absence made all the shades of blue… well, less blue, if you know what I mean. She had spread her wings and had flown away.

I sat there everyday for those 15 minutes, stirring my wooden coffee, gazing hopefully at the revolting doors in the hope that Skye would return…

Please continue the story, as NiaSunset (photographyofnia.com) has done, and I have done (graemesandford.com) in the comments box below and I shall update the post with your words. Just a bit of fun. G:)

Thank you

  1. May I ask something, because I want to understand 🙂 I hope I don’t break this fun…
    In this sentence,
“I was sat stirring my wooden coffee with my wooden coffee stirrer, when…”
I was sat… what does it mean? For me, it says, someone made me to sit… and then I started to stirr my coffee… but what is it wooden coffee… I can understand wooden coffee stirrer… 🙂

and coming to your fun writing, I can go like that,

“…. it was a break for only 15 minutes. It means I could only to see her only for 15 minutes…. But she didn’t come… I waited for her… just to ask her if she would like to come with me tonight to the concert… It would be the first time to talk with her… I waited… and no one came to the break time there… Next day, I learned that she left the company… ”

At least, I tried… Thank you for giving me this chance… I enjoyed. Love, nia

    • ‘I was sat’ just means that I was in a sitting position. My silly mind sees the phrase ‘Wooden coffee stirrer’ and I know the stirrer is wooden, but it’s funnier to have ‘wooden coffee’ – ‘man eating toast’ is only funny if the toast is man-eating. Thank you for joining in. I shall update the story soon. Can I tweak your words a little if necessary? ‘Tweak’ means alter your word order slightly to make it have more sense. G:) thank you.

      • Thank you dear G, I am learning, these are details in a language and I can’t catch them most of time. You can make whatever you want. You are welcome, love, nia

  2. , when Edward and Den wandered my way. I watched and waited. Would Edward wink? Would Den? x
